I am an accidental writer who did not know that writing was within me until a few years ago. What compels me to write is the story and the excitement to share it with everyone. You will find my writing to be realistic and yet unrealistic. Realistic, because I try to write the dialogue as it would happen in real life. Unrealistic, because, writing for me, is an escape from reality. Things may fall in place automatically for the protagonists for a happy ending. This will rarely happen in real life. But then, there is enough sadness in real life and I just want to have a good time writing and reading a book. That doesn’t mean that my stories would always have an expected, totally happy ending. Growing up in different states in India amongst different cultures and languages has given me the ability to think from multiple perspectives. Now, I live in the USA and the experience is similar in many ways, since there is a lot of diversity here with most people having roots from all around the world. Empathy and thinking on his or her behalf is natural to me and that might be why it is easy for me to portray the different characters. I am an ultimately busy mom, wife, and an IT professional as well. I am passionate about women empowerment and improving the quality of life for everyone in this world, in line with Bill Gates foundation’s vision of a “Global Citizen”. I hope to provide my own tiny contribution towards the betterment of this world somehow. I would love to hear from my readers or anyone who shares my interests.
